Freshly Hatched-Newborn Session

Baby Charlie’s freshly hatched and newborn session was like a breath of fresh air for me.   I absolutely loved documenting this family.  My time with them started the previous fall whenever I shot their maternity announcement.  At that time, they expressed their love of film.  Luckily I had just purchased my new film camera so I was excited.  Baby Charlie was my first time shooting a freshly hatched session on black and white film stock.  Of course I just love the results.  Then, at her newborn session they had the most beautiful light filled sunroom where I took some more film portraits.   The results are some of my absolutely favorite images.  Their session and images started a domino effect of me using film at my sessions throughout the whole rest of the year.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images of Charlie and her beautiful nursery.
