Around Thanksgiving we wanted to visit the medic and fire department for taking such good care of us the night of my birth. I don’t remeber it being scary or even realize how bad it was but I do remember how many people were surrounded me, my husband, and my new baby boy to make sure we were all taken care of. Everyone there that night had a purpose and them as a whole made sure I got fluids back in my system, gained color back in my face, and got me to the hospital for the doctors to finish working on me. Actually getting this meeting arranged was a bit tough at first. When we finally got in touch with the right person she arranged a meeting and it wasn’t until January that we reunited with them all. Below are some pictures :) It was very sweet for them all to see Pierson again. The medics had a little build a bear made for Pierson to keep and it was wearing a little juniors medic shirt. So sweet. Then we went to the volunteer fire department and met (again) the man who held Pierson the whole way to the hospital in the ambulance next to me. He was sick the day of our first meeting, but it was neat going to the firehouse the next week! It was so nice meeting all these people again and Im so very thankful that they showed up that night and took such great care of me and my boy. I think they enjoyed meeting us too. They said people dont seek out and say thanks to them often so this was a treat. Enjoy!
