Pierson’s “Time Flies” Birthday Party

Wow!  I still just can’t get over how quickly Pierson’s first year few by.  My baby is ONE!  I can’t believe it!   When I was thinking of his first party I couldn’t think of a better then then “Time Flies”.  Here’s some pictures of his party and some of him enjoying his cake.  Once the party got going I didn’t snap too many pictures.  So thankfully, my cousins picked up the camera and grabbed some for me.

I hung  alittle map showing a timeline with some of my favorite images.  I had a huge stack of pictures but they wouldn’t all fit.  :)    These are mostly his “first” throughout his first year, along with one from his newborn, 3 month, 6 month, and 9 month pictures.

I had this great idea to make Pierson’s Smash Cake.  I saw this link online: how to make it form a tin can. It did not look as good as the pictures.  Actually, its a great idea, but mine fell apart while taking it out.  I doctored it up and served it to him anyways….its the thought that counts, right?  It was made with love for sure….by myself and my brother.
