Fall in the Mountains

A few weeks ago we took a day trip to the mountains to see the foliage.  Timing could have been better at some spots but overall it was beautiful!  I love this time of the year and all the colors.  We drove to The Cradle of Forestry in Pisgah National Forest and spent some time walking their trails.  Then we stopped at Tupelo Honey (LOVE that place) and had dinner with a friend and her family, who live in Asheville.  We had such a great day.  Here are some of my favorites.
