A bunch of Updates

I’ve had a lot going on this month.  June has been hectic in all the best ways.  I’m so behind on my blogging and I’ve got so many great newborn sessions to get on the blog.  Soon, I promise.

I’ve decided to really make a conscious effort to post something every Thursday.  I haven’t quite decided on the topics yet.  It might be some of the same stuff or it might be new things every week.  I noticed how its so incredibly easy to get wrapped up in the craziness surrounding me and It really helps me to sit down and take a deep breath, and blog.  To remember the things Im thankful for.  To do something fun and share my thoughts with others.  Anyhow, here is my Thursday post (just 30 min. shy of being too late!—still counts right?!)

I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to do a mentorship with Cheyenne with The Schultzes.  I was very excited for this and Cheyenne was just as sweet and helpful as I as thought she’d be.   I left our meeting with so many things to add to my to-do list.  I’m hoping to share those with you as I get them done.  We’ll be doing a bit of branding, tweaking the site and blog.    More of that to come later.

Heres a quick recap of this month and a few of the exciting things that’s happened…..

My birthday was this month and what better way to celebrate then to do a little antiquing…..

Pierson finally had his 9 Month appointment (He was almost 10 Months).  His growth curve is perfect and he’s doing great.   He’s 18 1/2 pounds and 27 3/4″ long.  I love this picture of him, he looks like such a big boy here.

My sister Katlyn  graduated from High School!  I’m so proud of her!   We’ll enjoy spending time with her this summer before she heads off to college.

My dear friend Sebron swooped me away for a wine and design class.  This was much needed after a tough day.  So thankful for her friendship!

Paul bought a bike trailer to put on the back of his bike so Pierson could ride around the neighborhood with him.  He LOVES that thing.  They take daily rides and Paul even put Pierson to sleep one morning.  Isn’t he so cute.

We are building a  house! Yippeee.  We started the process about 2 months ago and it’s been moving pretty quickly.  So excited to move into our new home!

That’s it…..come back next week.  :)
